Welcome to Brite

Brite IndustriesBrite is a not-for-profit organisation with a proud history of providing training and employment services to people with a disability (primarily intellectual disability) and to people in the community experiencing vocational disadvantage.

Comprised of 2 companies, Brite Services trading as Brite Pak and Brite Plants and the Victorian Vocational Rehabilitation Association (V.V.R.A) trading as Brite Institute, the organisation is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.

Brite is quality assured under the Australian Government Department of Social Services under the six National Standards for Disability Services.

High quality product and service standards also ensure Brite’s commercial customers and community partners of our commitment to ‘quality’ in all that we do.

What we Offer

Supported employment  in our warehouse, packing division, wholesale nursery and herb farm.

Social  activities that encourage participation, learning and enjoyment.

Education that includes full accredited certificates, pathways courses and skill sets.

Brite's Broadmeadows site is home to Brite Services, an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE). 

Brite's PAK division is able to offer a broad range of services to Australian businesses including:

  • Decanting                
  • Blister manufacturing
  • Packing
  • Pick, pack and despatch
  • Assembly
  • Labelling
  • Food packing
  • Third party warehousing
  • Shrink wrapping

Brite PLANTS division is a wholesale nursery providing its customers with quality plants from tube stock to established trees and shrubs.  Customers include retail nurseries, other wholesale nurseries, landscapers, builders and councils.  Brite Plants also quotes and sources plants upon request.

  • native and indigenous plants and shrubs
  • exotic varieties
  • grasses
  • structural plants suitable for landscaping . 
  • ornamental trees
  • fruit trees
  • hardy trees suitable for street scaping
  • contract growing
  • consultancy services

Brite's Northcote site houses its Registered Training Organisation (RTO), a specialist training provider focusing on the delivery of certificates from the Community Services Training Package.  

Brite Institute delivers:

  • accredited and pre-accredited short courses
  • traineeships
  • federal and state funded training programs
  • certificates from the community services,  manufacturing and horticulture training packages 
  • fee-for-service training for the residential aged care and disability services sectors

Brite Institute was selected as a finalist for the 2014 Australian Training Awards – Disability Training Initiative Award.

The Australian Training Awards (ATA) are hosted by the Australian Government and are the peak, national awards for the vocational education and training sector (VET), recognising and rewarding organisations and individuals for their outstanding contribution to skilling Australia.
